Dive Computers

Diving computers or a decompression meter is a device used to measure the time and depth of a dive so that a safe ascent profile can be calculated and displayed. This means that you can advertently avoid decompression sickness otherwise known as the bends. Dive computers like decompression tables, are able to perform a continuous calculation of the partial pressure of gases in the body based on the actual depth and time profile of the diver.
